Job Duties

  • Produce innovative and diversified menus that reflect the restaurant's overall vision
  • train kitchen staff to adhere to restaurant policies and sanitation regulations
  • organize, schedule, and direct kitchen staff work to ensure quick and effective kitchen operations
  • design aesthetic plating presentations
  • ensure hygiene and food safety requirements are consistently met
  • maintain kitchen inventory and manage assigned budget
  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
  • comply with all company policies and regulations to support safe and efficient operations
  • comply with certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
  • maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
  • ensure all kitchen personnel effectively fulfill their job functions
  • create menus and food presentations
  • address and resolve customer problems efficiently
