Job Requirements

- Minimum of 1 years experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Valid clear Texas drivers license

- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to communicate in Spanish helpful
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports
- Ability to push/pull cart/table weighing up to 150 lbs
- Grasp, lift to waist and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Skill in use of computers and software programs associated with property operations
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing for an extended period of time
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and to effectively deal with internal and external customers
- Thorough knowledge of local, state and federal laws pertaining to the lodging industry, criminal trespass, theft, etc
- Thorough knowledge of the layout of the building, function rooms, and some knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
- Ability to follow written and or verbal instructions in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges
Job Duties
- Performs all essential functions associated with the position of a Loss Prevention attendant
- Conducts daily activities pertaining to Loss Prevention and Safety and driver of the hotel
- Responds to emergency situations, takes command and control of scenes until arrival of management personnel
- Assigns and records safety and Loss Prevention/Security inspections
- Provides accurate information to inquiries for directions, hours of operation, etc
- Escorts guests and team members as required to parking lots, provide the same for team members carrying banks
- Assist guests with door lock problems, use moderately complex hand held electronic apparatus to program automated guest door lock
- Provide transportation to guest and or team members to/from the airport or within a 3 mile radius
- Other duties as assigned
