The role available at Philz Coffee is for a versatile team member or barista position where you will be actively engaged in daily operations, including making drinks, preparing food orders, handling the register, and maintaining cleanliness and stock. You will work closely within a supportive and communicative team that embodies the company's values and mission. No prior barista experience is necessary as Philz commits to providing all the training you need to succeed in this role. This position offers a starting hourly rate of approximately $20.50 to $21.50 with additional tip income averaging around $7.00 per hour, reflecting the value the company places on employee contributions. Essential physical requirements include the ability to operate various machines and tools safely, maintain visual acuity for accurate work observations, and the stamina to remain stationary for at least 3 hours at a time. Team members should be able to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel, and be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently and repeated lifting of 3 pounds to shoulder height. Communication skills are essential for exchanging information effectively with customers and team members to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone.
