Job Description

Dividend Restaurant Group (DRG) is an established leader in the hospitality industry, known for its dedication to building a strong foundation through character, versatile systems, and disciplined actions. Based in Denver, Colorado, DRG is a dynamic restaurant group that operates some of the country's most iconic and beloved brands. The organization has a reputation for revitalizing these brands and driving significant value for all its stakeholders, including guests, team members, vendors, and financial partners. DRG operates with a guest-first and team-focused philosophy, striving to ensure that everyone involved in the business receives meaningful dividends in multiple forms. This commitment to excellence and growth has positioned DRG as an influential player in the restaurant industry, with ambitious plans for continued expansion and success.

Within the DRG family is Eddie Merlot's, a distinguished division focused on delivering premium dining experiences. The position of Dishwasher at Eddie Merlot's is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and service that define the brand. Dishwashers play a crucial behind-the-scenes role that directly contributes to the guest experience by ensuring the kitchen and dining areas function smoothly and efficiently. The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans, both by handling large dish machines and performing hand-washing as needed. Beyond dishwashing duties, the role involves maintaining the dish room, assisting with broader kitchen cleaning tasks, managing trash removal, and supporting the overall organization and maintenance of the restaurant.

This part-time, non-exempt position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. As a key team member, the Dishwasher partners with other kitchen and management staff like bussers, runners, cooks, butchers, and supervisors to ensure every guest receives outstanding food and hospitality. The role demands manual dexterity, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining professional standards, including cleanliness and timely attendance. Candidates are encouraged to have prior dishwashing experience, although training is provided to ensure mastery of required processes and safety standards. The physical demands of the job require standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and enduring exposure to water, heat, cold, and cleaning solutions.

Eddie Merlot’s embraces equal employment opportunities, inviting applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply and join their inclusive team. Individuals passionate about contributing to an excellent dining environment through high-quality support and reliability will find this Dishwasher role rewarding. The role offers an opportunity to join a reputable company with a track record of success, ongoing growth, and a commitment to paying dividends to all stakeholders, including team members. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience for this non-exempt position. Overall, the Dishwasher position at Eddie Merlot's under the Dividend Restaurant Group umbrella is essential for maintaining the operational excellence and customer-first culture that drives the company’s continued achievements.
