Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in food service or school lunch program is a plus
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 30 pounds
basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
friendly, positive attitude and a commitment to student well-being
dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Duties

Assist in the preparation and portioning of food items for lunch service
set up and maintain serving lines and food stations
serve meals to students in a timely and friendly manner
support dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing of food prep areas, utensils, and equipment
monitor student safety and behavior in the lunchline
maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and serving area
follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
assist with inventory checks and receiving food deliveries as needed
communicate effectively with staff, students, and administration
perform other related duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager
