Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6 years of occupational health and safety work experience
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Machinery and Machine Guarding
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to manage changing workloads and deadlines
  • Must be eligible to work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, systems/industrial engineering, business administration, or related field
  • Certified Safety Professional certification preferred
  • At least 6 years of occupational health and safety experience in manufacturing or similar industries such as oil and gas, construction, transportation, utilities, or logistics
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety programs including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, Machinery and Machine Guarding, Crane and Hoist, Powered Industrial Truck/forklifts
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
  • Ability to complete assignments with autonomy, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Improve EHS workplace performance by promoting a safe workplace, identifying and mitigating safety risks and implementing Bell safety programs: Safety Culture, Safety Compliance and Safety Prevention
  • Development and implementation of programs and procedures to assure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local occupational safety standards and Bell requirements
  • Facilitate safety incident investigations, work with key stakeholders to develop root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions
  • Conduct compliance audits and guide teams with implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance
  • Project management and coordinate implementation of actions which drive continuous improvement
  • Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of action plans associated with incidents JHA’s and audit findings
  • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with Bell operations
