The EHS & Facilities Manager role at Eaton's aerospace division in Camarillo, CA, is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring that all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices and facilities operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal corporate standards. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $183,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications, with full relocation assistance for qualified candidates ready to relocate quickly.
In this role, the manager will develop, implement, and sustain plant-level EHS programs, policies, procedures, and systems to uphold a zero-incident safety culture. The manager will lead initiatives that promote safety awareness and accountability across all plant operations and support the continuous improvement of environmental and safety metrics. They will oversee all maintenance activities related to the building and plant support equipment, prioritizing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal directives.
The position requires overseeing environmental permit applications and renewals, compliance with waste disposal regulations, and maintaining safety plans such as HazCom, BBP, hearing conservation, PPE assessments, and workstation risk assessments. The manager will coordinate emergency response planning, lead incident investigations, and ensure timely employee training on environmental and safety protocols. They will also manage key facilities projects, capital infrastructure upgrades, and departmental budget planning.
Additionally, the Facilities/EHS Manager will design and implement maintenance procedures to reduce costs and environmental impact, manage supplier contracts related to maintenance services, and coordinate with security and ITAR/EAR compliance efforts. The role demands strong leadership to supervise maintenance teams, facilitate employee engagement through safety sub-teams, and collaborate effectively with plant leadership to achieve MESH compliance objectives.
Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least six years of experience in EHS and facilities management within a manufacturing environment, alongside demonstrated capabilities in leading teams and managing complex projects. Preferably, candidates will have experience with digital EHS applications and California regulatory environments, with excellent communication skills to interact at all organizational levels and with external government officials. The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with ITAR regulations defining U.S. persons.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Minimum 6 years EHS and facilities experience
- Minimum 2 years people management or team leadership
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

- Willingness to relocate quickly if needed
- Proficiency in managing safety and environmental compliance

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
- Minimum 6 years of EHS and facilities experience in manufacturing
