Job Requirements

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues

Job Duties

  • Manages the Flight Operations EFB program to deliver critical information to pilots during flight operations in the flight deck
  • Develop and implement policies and processes for pilot use of EFBs
  • Coordinates with the FAA to gain approval for policies and processes
  • Coordinates with IT on device asset management, security, software implementation, and hardware decisions
  • Collaborates with inflight operations on all EFB matters
  • Interfaces with code shares on in-flight connectivity
  • Manages testing and evaluation program for EFBs including required lab testing
  • Owner and manager of the regulatory document management software for operations
  • Sets policy and administrative guidelines for document management software
  • Maintains backup systems for EFBs including document management and aeronautical charting
  • Serves as primary SME for Operations Specification A025 and the Electronic Compliance Manual
  • Designs and maintains the Flight Operations web portal
  • Monitors and audits Flight Operations memos and digital communications for currency
  • Acts as Flight Operations aeronautical data manager controlling aircraft navigation database and charting subscriptions
  • Functions as Charter Operations SME maintaining policy and manuals, planning and briefing crew members, evaluating airport suitability
  • Coordinates Flight Operations for Part 91 operations including recruiting events
  • Facilitates communication among functional and technical representatives for projects
  • Ensures FAA and Company regulatory compliance
  • Develops and maintains strong cross-functional relationships
  • Fosters an environment ensuring safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of flight operations
  • Acts as Flight Operations POC for after-hour technology and charter issues
  • Performs special projects as assigned
