Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
- Four plus years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning highly preferred
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
- Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy
Job Duties
- Manage La Scuola front of house and back of house teams
- Oversee correspondence for La Scuola including private event requests, class registrations, cancellations and general inquiries
- Supervise events at La Scuola including setup, execution, and breakdown of cooking classes, wine tasting classes, communal dinners, private dinners and private receptions
- Facilitate communication between Private Dining Manager and chefs, beverage managers, and event team members
- Ensure each event is planned correctly and runs smoothly, including front-of-house supervision and behind-the-scenes organization
- Conceive and create public classes, draft class descriptions, compile instructor biographies and create online class registration pages
- Direct storewide events, promotions, and partnership events
- Perform other duties as assigned
