Job Requirements
- Some college or 2-3 years equivalent experience preferred
- Lesson plan and curriculum development experience helpful
- Experience as a teaching artist or youth worker preferred
- Experience working with partners, learners and community members diverse in age, gender, race, culture and economics
- Ability to travel to program sites throughout Pierce County and arrive in a timely manner
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs

- Strong organization and communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, and Zoom
- Ability to travel to program sites throughout Pierce County and arrive in a timely manner
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs
Job Duties
- Provide administrative and logistic support for education and community engagement programs
- Coordinate and complete large mailings such as the education season brochure, communications to program participants, and mailings to patrons and donors
- Coordinate preparation, distribution, tracking, and storage of program supplies (teaching supplies, costumes, props, scenery, etc.)
- Assist in communication and scheduling with internal and external partners for successful program delivery
- Serve as daily point of contact for ELO teaching artists, identifying substitute teaching artists and communicating class cancellations as needed
- Assist with event delivery as needed, including education, community engagement and ACE events
- Assist with program data tracking, entry, and reporting
- Assist with intern coordination
- Participate in weekly staff and team meetings
- Conduct concierge communications to past students, teachers, participants, etc.
- Teach and/or substitute teach in programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
