The role of Restaurant General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Miami is a prestigious leadership position focused on delivering an exceptional luxury guest experience within the hotel's restaurant and bar outlets. As Restaurant General Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring and guiding a team dedicated to excellence in service quality and hospitality standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the setup and detailed service execution to ensure every guest interaction reflects the renowned Four Seasons standard.
You will be entrusted with selecting, training, evaluating, and motivating the EDGE restaurant staff to maintain the highest cultural and operational standards. Ensuring daily operational planning and activities align with the hotel's goals will be key to your success. You will also maintain visibility within daily operations, promoting good public relations, handling guest complaints and special requests, and fostering lasting relationships with both regular guests and new patrons.
This leadership role also involves acting as the Food and Beverage division lead during the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage, collaborating closely with other department heads such as the Director of Event Operations, In Room Dining Manager, and Executive Chef to ensure holistic success across all food and beverage areas. Job Requirements
- Education and experience in hospitality management or equivalent
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in luxury hotel or restaurant setting
- knowledge of food and beverage operations and Four Seasons standards
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficiency in English
- US work authorization
- ability to use food and beverage computer systems
Job Qualifications
- Hospitality management degree or similar years of experience
- manager with 3-5 years of previous restaurant leadership experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting
- working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
- knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, public relations, merchandising, and accounting
- ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems
- reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee the setup and detailed service execution of the restaurant and bar experience
- select, train, evaluate, lead by example, motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all employees in EDGE restaurant to ensure cultural and core standards are met
- plan daily activities and outlet operations
- maintain visibility in the operation to provide recognition and promote good public relations

- act as Food and Beverage division lead during the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage
- work closely with fellow Department Heads to ensure ongoing success of all Food and Beverage areas of the Hotel
