The position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Denver is a full-time role central to ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of EDGE Restaurant & Bar. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching the team to meet the established cultural and core standards of Four Seasons. Visibility and positive interaction within the operation are key, as the manager will be expected to promote public relations, provide recognition to staff, and adeptly handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests to guarantee an exceptional dining experience.
This role requires a refined understanding of food quality, ingredient sourcing, and preparation methods, alongside expert knowledge of wine and spirits. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will work in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to delivering attentive and distinctive dining experiences throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Furthermore, the role demands effective control of labor and operating costs by managing scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory, and cash handling processes. A flexible schedule is mandatory, with the position requiring availability for morning and afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Candidates are expected to hold a college degree, preferably in hotel or restaurant management, or possess equivalent professional experience. Ideally, applicants will have one to two years of supervisory or assistant manager experience within food and beverage operations. Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in the United States are also required.
