Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultrasound sonographers
- ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or CCI echocardiography (RCS)
- experience working with an electronic health record
- 3-5 years experience working in a hospital or other medical facility
- certification basic life support
- excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- must be organized and attentive to detail
- ability to manage competing priorities
- resourcefulness in problem solving
- able to take and follow through with assigned tasks and accountability
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Perform echocardiograms, positioning patients and equipment appropriately
- manage patient expectations and provide exam explanations
- maintain and calibrate equipment for diagnostic accuracy
- record and interpret measurements, comparing results to clinical norms
- ensure safety, confidentiality, and documentation accuracy
- perform additional duties as assigned
