Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of previous related event and staff coordination experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple daily requests efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and staff
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in email communication and document preparation
  • Ability to provide onsite event assistance
  • Capability to monitor and schedule staff meals and breaks
  • Competency in maintaining records and handling accounting tasks
  • Skills to manage guest inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of related event and staff coordinating experience preferred
  • Proficient in creating reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in coordinating catering and housekeeping services
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Competent in handling guest relations and resolving complaints
  • Familiarity with scheduling and staff performance monitoring
  • Basic knowledge of accounting procedures related to receipts and balances

Job Duties

  • Handle multiple daily catering, sports, and event booking requests
  • Communicate available services, policies, and fees to clients
  • Coordinate catering and housekeeping services for booked meetings
  • Participate in planning meetings, review event details, address staff questions, and discuss logistical matters
  • Organize and distribute event-related email communications
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, and documents to organize event information
  • Provide onsite event assistance
  • Monitor staff and performance, maintain communication logs with staff and managers
  • Monitor and schedule staff meals and breaks
  • Maintain thorough records and/or communications in shared office network
  • Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications
  • Provide guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities
  • Receive special requests from guests and respond appropriately or forward requests
  • Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries
  • Retrieve and forward messages to/from guests
  • Field and resolve guest complaints or escalate for resolution
  • Assist guests in emergency situations
  • Maintain adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk
  • Perform special assignments as deemed necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
