Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • serve safe foodhandler certification
  • at least 2 years off-site catering or fast-paced kitchen experience
  • physical ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds regularly
  • ability to work flexible, on-call hours including weekends
  • willingness to commit to working select Saturdays in May, June, and December

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years off-site catering experience or equivalent in fast-paced kitchen environment
  • possess excellent culinary skills including knife techniques and terminology
  • ability to multi-task in a busy kitchen while working well with others
  • clear knowledge of time management
  • experience in set-up and organization of off-site kitchens
  • Serve Safe Foodhandler Certification
  • allergen awareness is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary execution of off-premise events
  • organize event kitchen space
  • assign tasks to culinary support team
  • conduct rack checks and pack out culinary equipment
  • follow all sanitation procedures
  • maintain clean and professional presence in front of clients and staff
  • communicate with guests in a friendly manner
