The role available at Parlor Doughnuts is designed for individuals who are experienced and passionate about handcrafting quality doughnuts that meet or exceed the company’s high standards. The position focuses specifically on preparing layered doughnuts from start to finish, including preparation, frying, and decorating. Employees in this role will work primarily in the den or back of house, where they are responsible for ensuring that a continuous supply of fresh doughnuts is available to meet customer demands. This role also involves collaboration with other team members to manage fryer operations efficiently and to keep track of ingredient inventory to avoid shortages or waste. Cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area are essential components of the job, as the establishment prioritizes food safety and sanitation to offer customers a safe and pleasant dining experience. In addition to kitchen duties, the role includes supporting front-of-house staff by providing excellent customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns. Job Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain Serv Safe or State certification
- Must be on time for opening shift (4:00am)
- Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge training certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid CPR Fires)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required

- Prepare doughnuts from start to finish including preparation frying and decoration
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of fryers and manage inventory of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
- Help front of house by providing excellent customer service by taking orders answering questions and addressing customer concerns
- Help direct in additional duties such as sweeping dishes or garbage
