Job Description

Earl of Sandwich is a renowned fast-casual restaurant brand with deep historical roots tracing back to 1762 when John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the sandwich. This establishment is celebrated for its artisan bread baked fresh to order and traditional family recipes crafted from fresh ingredients, creating a dining experience that honors centuries of sandwich-making expertise. As a family-owned business, Earl of Sandwich emphasizes pride in delivering high-quality, flavorful sandwiches alongside salads, wraps, sides, and desserts, making every meal memorable for its guests. The brand is committed to upholding high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

The Delivery Driver at Earl of Sandwich plays a critical role in maintaining the brand's reputation by ensuring that each order reaches the customer courteously, safely, and promptly. This full-time position requires more than just driving skills; it combines customer service, food preparation, and operational support to create an exceptional dining experience. Delivery Drivers must possess a thorough knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns to optimize delivery times efficiently. They are also integral team players who assist in food preparation, accurately following recipes for sandwiches, salads, and wraps, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization.

Beyond deliveries, the Delivery Driver engages directly with guests, taking orders and processing payments with professionalism and a smile. They contribute to sales growth by suggestively selling additional menu items and distributing marketing materials within the delivery area. An important part of this role is ensuring food quality and safety standards are met at all times, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to excellence. The position demands strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a passion for supporting both the guest experience and team objectives. Earl of Sandwich offers a dynamic work environment where employees can take pride in being part of a business with a rich heritage and a focus on crafting the world's greatest hot sandwiches. This role is ideal for individuals who value teamwork, customer service, and operational excellence, all within a beloved and growing restaurant chain.
