Job Description
Dreamscape Hospitality is a leading hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through its portfolio of distinguished hotels. With a focus on combining innovation, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence, Dreamscape Hospitality continually strives to enhance its market presence and elevate its service standards in the hospitality industry. The company fosters a collaborative work environment where employees are empowered to achieve their professional goals while contributing to the overall success of the organization. Known for its commitment to quality and community involvement, Dreamscape Hospitality offers numerous opportunities for growth and development within the sales and marketing sectors, particularly in catering and banquet services.
The Dual Sales Manager position at Dreamscape Hospitality plays a crucial role in achieving the catering and banquet sales goals tied directly to hotel performance. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Dual Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and securing new accounts, while also maintaining and servicing existing clients and group bookings. This management-level role demands strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Dual Sales Manager works closely with the Director of Sales to ensure that the hotel meets its revenue targets and increases market share, focusing on various sales segments including social, corporate, business travel, and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal groups).
Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Dual Sales Manager must be prepared to invest the necessary time and effort to fulfill the duties of the role, including soliciting clients through calls and sales tours and cultivating customer relationships. This position requires creativity, particularly in understanding and leveraging food and beverage offerings for sales purposes. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role involves frequent negotiation and relationship-building with hotel guests and corporate clients. The role also includes contributing to community visibility and industry organization involvement to promote hotel sales.
The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational capabilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing several responsibilities simultaneously. Dreamscape Hospitality emphasizes adherence to operational policies, catering sales metrics, and maintaining high standards in service delivery. This position offers an opportunity to take part in various special sales promotions and participate actively in team meetings and management functions. Dreamscape Hospitality is proud to offer an engaging and supportive work environment where the Dual Sales Manager can thrive and significantly impact the hotel’s success.
