Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance

  • Proficient in using human resources information systems
  • Ability to train new employees on HR procedures and systems

Job Duties

  • Assist and support management and leadership team with handling and resolving human resources issues
  • Assist employees with requests and procedures for internal and external transfers
  • Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues
  • Coordinate and conduct drug screenings, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle department verifications, and social security number validations
  • Maintain applicant flow records, drug test results, orientation, and transfer applications
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and input data into human resources information systems
  • Assist with new employee orientation
  • Ensure hiring processes comply with local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies and standards
