Job Description
McKibbon Hospitality is a highly respected management company in the hospitality industry known for operating and supporting a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts across the United States. The company is committed to excellence, innovation, and fostering a culture that values employees while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Renowned for its leadership principles, McKibbon embraces core values that emphasize ethical behavior, community involvement, and employee support. This commitment ensures that the company is not only a place of business but also a vibrant community where employees can grow and thrive alongside the properties they manage.
The Clearwater Beach Hampton Inn & Suites and Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach are two vibrant properties under McKibbon Hospitality’s management, located in a highly desirable coastal market known for tourism and business travel. These properties offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere to guests, blending comfort with convenience and upholding the high standards for which McKibbon is known.
The Dual Director of Sales position within McKibbon Hospitality is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving the sales and revenue performance of both the Clearwater Beach Hampton Inn & Suites and Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach. This role demands an energetic, strategic sales professional who can oversee and inspire two distinct property sales teams while maintaining cohesive, targeted sales strategies that work in alignment with company goals and market demands.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Dual Director of Sales reports directly to the General Manager and is charged with the responsibility of achieving the revenue targets through effective team leadership, strategic planning, and market insight. This position requires a hands-on manager who coordinates and delegates sales activities across both properties, balancing the unique characteristics of each location while ensuring maximum efficiency and revenue growth.
In this role, the Dual Director of Sales will lead the efforts to train sales associates on McKibbon’s comprehensive sales processes, including the use of technology tools like Delphi for sales documentation and research. With a focus on proactive revenue management, the director actively monitors market trends, manages key account performances, and directs sales solicitations to optimize occupancy and profitability.
The incumbent fosters a positive and professional environment that encourages ethical leadership and collaboration. They are responsible for maintaining compliance with brand and company sales initiatives and actively engaging with local communities and industry organizations to bolster the properties' reputations and visibility in the market.
Beyond revenue management, the Dual Director of Sales plays a vital role in employee development—conducting performance reviews, recognizing employee strengths, and ensuring continuous growth and motivation within the sales team. This leadership extends to organizing team-building activities that enhance morale and productivity.
This position requires thorough engagement in various strategic and operational meetings, including weekly sales standups, revenue management calls, and market update sessions with corporate and ownership stakeholders. The ability to develop, execute, and document strategic business plans and collaborate on budget preparations based on comprehensive market data is essential for success in this dynamic role.
McKibbon Hospitality values the Dual Director of Sales as a leader who embodies McKibbon’s Guiding Principles: Think Bigger, Love Your Community, Do the Right Thing, Support Each Other, and Make a Lasting Impression. The role offers opportunities for significant professional growth, supported by ongoing brand and company training, conferences, and McKibbon's commitment to employee well-being and success.
