Job Description

Hotel Equities is a recognized leader in hotel development and management, known for its commitment to operational excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The company manages a diverse portfolio of branded hotels, primarily in the Marriott, Hilton, and comparable segments. With its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, Hotel Equities has established itself as a premier hospitality company that values its team members and invests in their growth and success. The culture at Hotel Equities is defined by core values that emphasize integrity, collaboration, innovation, and a passion for hospitality, all aimed at exceeding guest expectations and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

This exciting career opportunity is for a Dual Property Director of Sales based in Southern California, overseeing the sales efforts across a portfolio of 7-plus branded hotels. The role offers a competitive base salary of $115,000 plus bonus incentives, along with comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, cell phone allowance, and access to discount programs for shopping, travel, and entertainment. Employees also have direct access to a Talent team dedicated to supporting their professional development and career growth.

The Dual Property Director of Sales is a hands-on leadership position requiring a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, active selling environment while driving strategic initiatives across multiple assets. This role involves leading and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass revenue goals by managing the sales efforts for a diverse portfolio of hotels. The position requires balancing direct sales responsibilities with leadership duties such as coaching, mentoring, and holding property-level sales teams accountable to performance metrics.

In this role, the sales leader actively sells and builds strong personal client relationships across business travel, group, and local negotiated segments. A key aspect of the job is working closely with General Managers and Revenue Leaders to align pricing strategies, market positioning, and overall revenue management. The Dual Property Director of Sales analyzes market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry reports such as STR to identify market opportunities and potential risks, ensuring the portfolio remains competitive and maximizes revenue.

Additionally, the role requires a strong command of sales technology and systems including Delphi, STS, FOSSE, PEP, and MARSHA, optimizing their use across all managed properties. Representing the portfolio in the local Southern California market—including areas like Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach—industry events, and client engagements is an important part of establishing and maintaining strong market presence and relationships.

This position is ideal for a sales professional with proven success in multi-property leadership within Marriott, Hilton, or similar branded hotel groups. Candidates should bring a deep understanding of the Southern California hospitality market combined with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. The role offers autonomy to shape portfolio sales strategy while remaining actively engaged in direct selling, providing a balance between leadership and hands-on sales execution in a high-demand, competitive market environment.

Joining Hotel Equities means becoming part of a collaborative culture supported by a strong operational and revenue team. The company offers an opportunity to lead a diverse and high-visibility portfolio with the autonomy to make an impact. Hotel Equities' commitment to employee wellbeing and career growth ensures a fulfilling and rewarding work experience for the right candidate.
