Our hotels are known for their high standards of service, quality accommodations, and customer satisfaction. We focus on cultivating long-term relationships with our clients and business partners to maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining an outstanding level of service and hospitality. As a dynamic and growing company, we are committed to investing in our people by providing them with the tools, training, and support needed to excel in the competitive hotel industry. Our commitment to excellence and innovative sales strategies has positioned us as a trusted leader in the market.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dual Director of Sales to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hotel industry experience and a deep understanding of cultivating client relationships and driving base revenue. The ideal candidate will play a key role in prospecting, negotiating, and closing corporate and group business while working closely with Corporate Sales, Corporate Revenue management, and the hotel’s General Manager. The Dual Director of Sales will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and annual budget targets related to Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
In this pivotal role, you will proactively seek new business opportunities through phone and email solicitation, as well as conduct site visits and outside sales calls to target local business accounts. You will be instrumental in creating and managing proposals and contracts, logging sales activities into the Delphi system, and maintaining strong relationships with city contacts and organizations. Collaboration with global and national brand representatives is essential to enhance hotel awareness and market saturation. The role also includes mentoring and training front desk and hotel team members on sales-related responsibilities, as well as participating in weekly sales accountability and revenue calls.
The Dual Director of Sales must be adept at managing operational sales tasks such as maintaining group blocks, overseeing reservation coding, and coordinating rate codes and GDS uploads with brand teams. The role demands adherence to the company’s sales policies and procedures and a strong ability to analyze STAR reports to understand weekly and monthly trends affecting hotel performance. The position requires reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel locally for client meetings and attend quarterly sales meetings at our corporate office in Irvine. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to significantly impact our hotel’s success while working in a supportive and collaborative environment focused on growth and development.
