Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sales or related hospitality role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in tele-prospecting and outside sales
- Knowledge of hotel industry and STAR reports
- Commitment to excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or hospitality sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
- Experience with market segmentation and tele-prospecting
- Familiarity with revenue management principles
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to analyze market reports and adjust plans accordingly
Job Duties
- Solicit business within different market segments via tele-prospecting and outside sales calls
- Take responsibility for the development and implementation of sales plans
- Assist General Manager in the development and updating of the hotel level business plan to include input on sales goals
- Review of monthly STAR reports for hotel
- Communicate with Revenue Management to ensure pricing is appropriate and adjust selling strategies as needed
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Requires excellent customer service skills
