The Dual Director of Sales role at Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites Turlock is a critical leadership position designed for an individual who is passionate about hospitality and skilled in sales strategy and business development. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales or related hospitality role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in tele-prospecting and outside sales
  • Knowledge of hotel industry and STAR reports
  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Proven experience in sales or hospitality sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Experience with market segmentation and tele-prospecting
  • Familiarity with revenue management principles
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to analyze market reports and adjust plans accordingly

Job Duties

  • Solicit business within different market segments via tele-prospecting and outside sales calls
  • Take responsibility for the development and implementation of sales plans
  • Assist General Manager in the development and updating of the hotel level business plan to include input on sales goals
  • Review of monthly STAR reports for hotel
  • Communicate with Revenue Management to ensure pricing is appropriate and adjust selling strategies as needed
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Requires excellent customer service skills
