The Dual Accounting Manager position is a vital role within Schulte Companies’ Graduate by Hilton Eugene team. This role is designed for an energetic, experienced, and hands-on accounting professional with a passion for hospitality and service excellence. The Dual Accounting Manager will provide crucial accounting support to two properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and interdepartmental coordination. The position involves leading daily accounting functions including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger activities. Moreover, the manager will drive the month-end and closing processes, develop monthly financial records for executive review, support bi-monthly financial forecasts, and maintain relationships with commercial banks and external auditors.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting management experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to apply mathematical operations
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of GAAP and USALI
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to maintain compliance with laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 2 years of corporate accounting management experience, hotel experience preferred
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong leadership skills

- Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect the accounting department
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with most proficiency in Excel

Job Duties
- Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments
- Provides accounting support for two assigned properties and is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and coordination across both locations
- Lead and direct the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting and cost accounting
- Actively drive month end and close processes and reviews
- Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for executive management team and Corporate Office
- Support operations leadership on bi-monthly financial forecast
- Work with Director of Finance to maintain balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Ensure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
- Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc
- Manage commercial banking relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource under highly competitive terms
- Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies
- Provide visionary, strategic and functional leadership on behalf of finance and accounting across the organization, in accordance with strategic objectives
- Actively serve as a key member of the executive leadership team
- Perform various other duties as assigned in order to meet company objectives
