Job Requirements
- Availability to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently
- No previous retail experience required
- Must be professional, friendly, and customer service focused

Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at
- Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members
- Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through either in-store sales or digital orders
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment including clearing trash, stocking merchandise, cleaning breakrooms and restrooms, vacuuming, and organizing stockroom
- Complete all functions of the fulfillment process including locating items, inspecting product condition, packaging, and label placement ensuring readiness for pick up or delivery
- Use company tools such as iPhone and register to search product availability and order for customers
- Complete customer transactions accurately while following DSW policies and procedures
- Partner with Customer Experience Leader when service issues escalate
- Follow all asset protection policies and procedures
- Participate actively in daily team meetings and ongoing training
- Be open to coaching and feedback and demonstrate teamwork and support inclusivity
