Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- availability to meet the needs of the business
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with technology such as register systems, calculators, and smartphones
- physical ability to stand or walk 100 percent of the shift
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently

Job Duties
- Greet customers with a friendly and helpful approach
- read customer cues and personalize service
- share benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members
- answer product questions and process customer transactions in-store and online
- maintain a neat, clean, and safe shopping environment
- receive inbound freight and stock merchandise according to DSW standards
- complete markdowns and organize the stockroom
- fulfill orders by locating, inspecting, packaging, and labeling products
- use company tools to check product availability and assist customer orders
- complete transactions accurately and follow DSW policies
- handle escalated customer service issues with the Customer Experience Leader
- follow asset protection policies and procedures
- actively participate in team meetings and training
- be open to coaching and feedback
- demonstrate teamwork and support inclusivity
