Job Requirements
- Must have availability to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in technology used in retail transactions
- No previous retail experience required

Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach
- Read customer cues and match their needs with an elevated level of service
- Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members
- Answer questions regarding products and complete customer transactions in-store or digitally
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe store environment including trash removal, cleaning, organizing stockroom, and merchandise presentation
- Receive and prepare inbound freight and complete markdowns per DSW standards
- Fulfill orders by locating items, inspecting products, packaging, and labeling for pick up or delivery
- Manage cash transactions accurately and follow asset protection policies
- Participate actively in team meetings and training, demonstrating teamwork and inclusivity
- Respond to coaching and feedback with a positive attitude
