Job Description
Roehl Transport is a well-established freight company specializing in providing high-quality transportation services across the United States and Canada, with a strong focus on the Midwest region. Known for its driver-centric approach, Roehl aims to deliver consistent and reliable routes that enable drivers to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The company operates as a leader in the trucking industry, offering various driving opportunities including dry van, reefer, and flatbed freight. Roehl Transport emphasizes longevity and stability in its employment offerings, providing a supportive environment where drivers can thrive and grow their careers. As a full-time employer, Roehl offers competitive weekly pay rates and comprehensive benefits that reward both experience and performance. Their commitment to transparency and driver satisfaction is evident in their structured pay plans and consistent scheduling.
The role of a CDL-A Driver at Roehl Transport is designed for professional truck drivers who are motivated by steady pay, predictable schedules, and respectful treatment on the road. CDL-A Drivers can expect to haul no-touch or largely no-touch freight across a variety of routes that are predominantly regional within the Midwest or extend to long-haul nationwide routes. The company offers both regional and over-the-road (OTR) positions catering to the preferences and lifestyles of different drivers. For regional dry van drivers, the schedule is built to ensure weekly home time with routes carefully planned so drivers often return home with a full load. These routes foster familiarity by serving common Midwest locations regularly, promoting a sense of routine and predictability.
OTR drivers enjoy opportunities to haul freight across 48 states and Canada, providing broader geographic exposure while still mostly handling no-touch dry van freight. This position involves longer time on the road, typically 11 to 14 days, followed by 3 days at home to recharge. Roehl’s Dynamic Pay Plan is a key feature for this role, designed to reward drivers based on their time and performance, thus motivating safe and efficient driving practices. Overall pay potential for regional drivers can reach up to $1,570 weekly, while top OTR drivers can earn up to $1,835 per week, with compensation ranges varying by experience, job location, and performance metrics.
In addition to competitive pay, Roehl Transport prioritizes the safety, training, and well-being of their drivers. The company offers benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, along with life and long-term disability coverage. They also provide Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) plans with profit sharing, and paid vacation and holidays. Roehl encourages career advancement through driver trainer positions, which include substantial earning potential. Applicants include experienced drivers with at least four months of recent driving experience, recent CDL school graduates, and those interested in paid on-the-job training to obtain their CDL. Roehl stands out as a trucking company that values its drivers through fair pay, predictable schedules, multiple freight options, and a company culture committed to driver-first principles.
