Job Description
Roehl Transport is a well-established trucking company that specializes in providing reliable and efficient freight transportation services across the United States and Canada. Founded with a commitment to valuing drivers and fostering work-life balance, Roehl Transport has grown into a trusted leader in the logistics industry, known for its driver-centric policies and strong emphasis on safety, predictability, and professional growth. This company primarily operates with dry van, reefer, and flatbed freight, serving routes that center on the Midwest while also offering extensive Over-The-Road (OTR) opportunities that span the nation. Roehl Transport is dedicated to offering CDL-A drivers competitive pay packages, steady miles, and home time, establishing a work environment where drivers can thrive both personally and professionally. Its innovative pay structures and benefits programs are designed to reward driver performance and commitment, setting Roehl apart from competitors in the trucking sector.
The role of a CDL-A Driver at Roehl Transport is tailored to accommodate diverse driver preferences, whether one seeks consistent regional routes within the Midwest or extended national routes through the OTR dry van division. Regional drivers benefit from predictable weekly home time, routes that frequently bring them back with a load, and largely no-touch freight that minimizes downtime related to freight handling. Weekly earnings for these drivers can reach up to $1,570, with the top half earning at least $1,330, making it an attractive opportunity for drivers looking for stability and reliable income. For those interested in OTR driving, Roehl offers routes that cover 48 states and Canada, focusing on mostly no-touch dry van freight. OTR drivers enjoy longer cycles of 11 to 14 days on the road followed by three days at home, all while benefiting from Roehl's Dynamic Pay Plan that aligns pay with both time and productivity. Top pay in this category can reach up to $1,835 weekly, rewarding drivers who excel in performance and dedication.
Roehl's commitment to their drivers extends beyond pay and schedule. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; long-term disability and life insurance; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plans with profit-sharing; as well as paid vacations and holidays. For individuals who aspire to advance, opportunities exist to become driver trainers, offering an additional compensation of $14,000 to $17,000 annually. Roehl Transport also provides dynamic pay enhancements, accident-free pay incentives, referral bonuses, and policies that welcome pets and riders. Maintenance of equipment is supported around the clock to ensure that drivers face minimal disruptions while on the road.
Candidates eligible for this role typically include Class A CDL holders with recent driving experience, recent graduates seeking on-the-job training, or individuals desiring to earn pay while obtaining their CDL through Roehl's unique training programs. The employment type is full-time, with no application deadlines, allowing drivers to apply as they are ready. Roehl Transport clearly emphasizes a driver-first philosophy, aiming to provide not just a job, but a career pathway that rewards professionalism, consistency, and a balanced lifestyle.
