Job Requirements
- class a drivers with at least four months of recent driving experience
- recent graduates of a cdl school who are inexperienced and want on-the-job training
- candidates who want to be paid while they obtain their cdl in our truck driving job
- willingness to comply with company policies and federal regulations
- ability to work full-time hours
- reliable and flexible regarding schedules
- physical ability to perform driving duties and basic vehicle inspections
Job Qualifications
- valid cdl class a license
- minimum four months of recent commercial driving experience or recent graduate from a cdl school
- ability to follow safety and operational protocols
- good driving record with no major violations
- basic mechanical knowledge to perform vehicle inspections
- strong communication and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- operate commercial vehicles safely according to company and federal regulations
- transport dry van freight largely no-touch across regional or nationwide routes
- maintain consistent, reliable schedules that provide home time weekly or bi-weekly
- follow prescribed routes primarily within the Midwest or across 48 states and Canada
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- communicate effectively with dispatchers and support staff to coordinate schedules and logistics
- participate in ongoing training and comply with company safety policies and procedures
