This role is for Class A CDL dedicated flex drivers based in Huntsville, AL, to haul freight primarily for Target, one of Ruan’s dedicated customers. The position involves supporting not only Target's retail operations but also other company operations where needed, making this a dynamic role that provides flexibility and varied assignments. Drivers in this role will be required to engage in high travel, potentially being on the road for 2 to 3 weeks or longer during travel assignments. Ruan covers all accommodations for drivers while they are away from their home base, highlighting the company’s commitment to driver welfare and comfort.

Flex drivers will have the opportunity to operate late-model Day Cabs and Sleeper Cab trucks, ensuring they have reliable, updated equipment to perform their duties effectively. Working out of the Huntsville location when not on the road, drivers experience varied shift days and start times based on operational requirements, adding flexibility to the daily schedule.

The pay structure is highly competitive, offering $30 per hour with weekly pay and an annual earning potential averaging between $85,000 and $90,000. Drivers are guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per day and receive a per diem—$50 for using a Sleeper Cab or $25 when staying in a hotel while on the road. When working locally in Huntsville, drivers receive local rates, ensuring fair compensation regardless of assignment.
