Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Valid class B license with passenger endorsement
  • Excellent driving record as verified by Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to lift and move luggage up to 75 lbs
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style
  • Availability to work regularly
  • Willingness to comply with attendance rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and respond to questions
  • Knowledge of hotel services, local events, and activities
  • Ability to operate vans, limousines, and automobiles
  • Excellent driving record verified by Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to handle and move luggage up to 75 lbs with manual dexterity
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and walk continuously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences
  • Must possess a class B license or equivalent with passenger endorsement

Job Duties

  • Show guests to room assisting with their luggage
  • Explain all hotel facilities, their location, hours of operation, and answer related questions
  • Check luggage for guests both for day and overnight
  • Maintain the designated station in the lobby, remaining alert
  • Open doors and greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of bell stand, lobby, and baggage room
  • Post daily events and entertainment board in the lobby
  • Communicate through intershift log
  • Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms
  • Perform airport pick-ups and drop-offs timely and courteously
  • Assist front desk with key inventory
  • Comply with attendance rules
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
