The position of HVAC Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate at Baker Distributing Company is a dynamic and vital role that combines the responsibilities of safe product delivery with warehouse operations. In this role, you will serve as the face of Baker Distributing Company, representing the brand with professionalism, care, and efficiency. Your duties will include loading and unloading HVAC products from box trucks, securing the goods for transportation, and delivering these materials safely to various destinations. You will be expected to collect signed invoices and return them to the sales center manager, which ensures proper documentation and accountability. Moreover, between deliveries, you will assist in warehouse activities such as inventory counts, order picking, and verifying orders to support stock accuracy.

Safety is a top priority in this position, and adherence to company protocols and the utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. You will be responsible for daily vehicle maintenance checks and monitoring in/out times along with merchandise returns. Participation in safety training sessions and drills is also integral, fostering a culture of safety and awareness within the team.

Furthermore, the role demands strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly truck and work environment, minimizing the risk of accidents. Proper handling and storage of products, along with the safe operation of warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, will be a part of your daily tasks. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of truck driving experience, and familiarity with box truck delivery. Possession of a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate is required, with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) being highly desirable.
