Job Requirements
- Valid class B driver's license and current medical certification
- Tanker endorsement
- Reliable transportation
- Over 6 months of driving experience with ready mix trucks
- Clean driving record with no reckless driving offenses DUIs or leaving accident scenes
- No more than 1.5 active points on driving record in last 36 months
- Ability to read write and communicate in English effectively
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to work under supervision receiving feedback coaching or discipline
- Ability to work up to 16 hours with maximum 11 hours driving per day
- Ability to wear proper PPE at all times
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders while carrying materials
Job Qualifications
- Valid class B driver’s license with current medical certification
- Tanker endorsement
- Minimum 6 months of ready-mix or commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no reckless driving offenses DUIs or leaving the scene of accidents
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of concrete products and truck operation
- Ability to work independently and maintain organizational skills
Job Duties
- Operate and drive a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently adhering to DOT and company regulations
- Perform timely pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Visually inspect concrete consistency and deliver loads at correct slump
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper operating condition
- Complete and maintain DOT daily logbooks when required
- Communicate job hazards to supervisors safety departments and fellow drivers
- Maintain professional conduct and positive attitude with coworkers and customers
- Work according to Hours-of-Service Regulations including working up to 16 hours and maximum 11 driving hours per day
- Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times
