Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid class B driver’s license and current medical
  • tanker endorsement
  • must have reliable transportation
  • driver record cannot contain any reckless driving offenses, DUIs, leaving the scene of an accident
  • driver record cannot contain more than 1.5 active points in the last 36 months
  • ability to follow written and verbal directions and to complete assigned tasks on schedule
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • ability to work with supervision, receiving instructions, feedback, coaching, counseling, and/or action/discipline

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate and drive a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and company rules and regulations
  • perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner
  • visually inspect the consistency of concrete in the mixer and deliver loads at the correct slump
  • maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic equipment maintenance
  • complete and maintain a DOT Daily Logbook when required
  • understand and communicate job hazards to supervisors, the safety department, and fellow drivers
  • maintain a positive attitude around coworkers and customers and act professionally and courteously
  • wear proper personal protective equipment at all times
