Job Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- must possess a current Commercial Driver License as currently required by the State of Pennsylvania
- must have a verifiable safe driving record
- must have a thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area
- must have a genuine interest in geriatric care and believe in and uphold the philosophy of the facility
- must present a well-groomed appearance and demonstrate a courteous, friendly, patient and congenial manner at all times
- previous transportation experience is preferred
- must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently
- must have excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- valid Commercial Driver's License as required by Pennsylvania
- verifiable safe driving record
- thorough knowledge of metropolitan and surrounding areas
- excellent customer service skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including day and night
- ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance
- experience with elderly care preferred
- good physical condition to perform required job tasks
Job Duties
- Provide safe and timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors
- drive facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, and special events
- maintain vehicle logs and purchase gasoline
- ensure preventative maintenance and inspections are current for all vehicles
- perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed
- keep vehicle interiors and exteriors clean and presentable
- assist Concierge desk and perform additional duties as assigned
- comply with safety regulations and respond to emergency situations
