Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 21 years or older
- valid driver’s license
- pass MVR report
- obtain DOT medical card within five days of request
- fewer than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- ability to read and speak English
- basic math and measurement skills
- physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 200 pounds with assistance
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting and kneeling
Job Qualifications

- previous delivery experience preferred, especially with building materials
- ability to read and speak the English language
- basic math and measurement skills
- ability to handle physical workload including lifting
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to follow safety and compliance regulations
Job Duties
- Load and appropriately secure product, materials or supplies inside delivery vehicle
- deliver customer orders to specified delivery site and unload materials safely and accurately
- verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries
- check items against invoice to ensure order accuracy
- act as a customer service liaison between Builders FirstSource and the site customer
- handle customer concerns and help resolve issues as they arise
- maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles
- perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines
- use handheld devices except while driving to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS
- maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures
- perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork when required
- operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and offload materials to designated areas
- understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury
- attend periodic safety meetings
- perform other duties as assigned
