The position available is for a professional truck driver who will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks to transport food and related products intrastate and interstate, including deliveries on local routes, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight assignments. The job schedule is Monday through Friday, with average departures between 3am and 5am, generally constituting 10-hour shifts. This role emphasizes safety and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as well as company policies. Drivers handle mostly No Touch Freight, minimizing physical strain. This position is well-suited for individuals who have prior CDL-A experience, meet state and federal qualifications, and demonstrate strong attention to safety and customer service. Vistar offers substantial benefits including up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over a year and the assurance of safe working conditions.
