The Transportation role at Core-Mark is a pivotal position within the company’s supply chain operation, centered around ensuring that products reach customers promptly and in optimal condition. This position, located in Spokane, Washington, offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $17.13, inclusive of various benefits starting from the first day of employment. The role is essential to the food and foodservice distribution network, serving as a bridge between the supply chain and the end customer. Drivers and helpers within this capacity play the role of company ambassadors by delivering goods safely and courteously, thereby strengthening customer relationships through reliability and professional service.

Specifically, the role of Driver, Helper Non Formula involves assisting the main driver with all aspects of product delivery. This includes helping to manage orders during transit, loading and unloading various types of trucks, and ensuring that products are placed in designated customer areas accurately. The position requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and emphasizes maintaining a high standard of safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Schedule flexibility is a key feature, with shifts available during daytime, nighttime, and overnight hours, and the potential for substantial overtime. Employees in this position generally work 40 hours or more per week, supporting Core-Mark’s commitment to reliable distribution services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 19 years old
  • Must have standard Class D drivers license for at least 1 year
  • 6+ months in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry
  • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Assist the driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
