The role of a Driver Helper at Cheney Brothers is integral to the country’s food supply chain, supporting the timely and safe delivery of food and foodservice products to customers. Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse environment interfacing with customers within foodservice industry
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate or other equipment to move product cases weighing between 10-90 pounds
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse environment interfacing with customers in the foodservice industry
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates to move product cases
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Preferred 1+ years experience in warehouse environment
- Valid Driver's License
Job Duties
- Assist drivers in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers
- Load and unload trucks and company vehicles
- Place products in areas identified by customers
- Complete required documentation promptly
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
- Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
