This position's primary responsibility involves operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers to deliver food products on local routes without overnight layovers. Drivers in this role are pivotal to QCD’s supply chain excellence, performing deliveries meticulously with care and precision. Drivers will routinely load and unload freight using hand trucks or pallet jacks in a touch-freight environment requiring physical activity and the ability to lift heavy items. Maintaining vehicle compliance through inspections, accurate DOT logs, and required paperwork is also essential. Clear communication with dispatchers, restaurant personnel, and team members ensures smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction.
