The role of Driver Check-In Coordinator is essential within this dynamic company because it supports critical logistics operations that keep the food supply chain efficient and reliable. Delivery drivers are the face of the company, interacting directly with customers while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. The Driver Check-In Coordinator is responsible for managing the check-in process for these drivers, verifying deliveries, reconciling financial transactions such as cash and checks, and processing returned goods to be accurately logged back into inventory. This detailed coordination helps maintain inventory accuracy, ensures compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and supports fleet maintenance and vehicle repair processes.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged or equivalent
- 6+ months in a warehouse environment
- administrative support experience performing basic math and computer data entry skills
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

- preferred 1+ years in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry
Job Duties
- check in drivers upon returning from deliveries
- receive driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconcile cash and checks and place in the safe
- examine and verify all returned items to be re-entered into inventory
- file department of transportation logs and company vehicle maintenance reports
- reconcile damaged goods and returned items and re-enter items into the appropriate categories within the inventory system
- communicate with inventory personnel over quality related concerns
- communicate with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges
- assist in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required
- perform other related duties as assigned
