Job Requirements

  • Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration final rule requirements for CDLs
  • Possess a valid CDL-Class A license
  • Have at least one year of proven safe driving experience
  • Hold a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for military base access
  • Prefer direct store delivery (DSD) experience
  • Pass drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check
  • Register with FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Ability to work early morning shifts Monday through Saturday 4 to 5 days per week
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in routes and schedules
  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL-Class A license with at least one year of safe driving experience
  • Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation
  • Proficiency in using smartphones, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and delivery scanners
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle varying weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of equipment including tractor, trailer, and pallet jack
  • Complete daily field service activities such as preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records
  • Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Safely operate vehicles on interstate routes adhering to OSHA, DOT, and federal regulations
  • Use electronic logging devices and scanners to log driving hours and deliveries
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to key customers
  • Adapt to changing routes and schedules while working in varying weather conditions
