With a long-standing reputation for excellent customer service and operational efficiency, HMSHost is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for travelers. The company is known for fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work environment, offering various employee benefits that enhance the overall work-life balance. HMSHost caters to a vast range of brands and partnerships, ensuring travelers have access to quality meals and refreshments in busy transit locations.
This position is located at the Dallas Airport F&B (Food and Beverage) division, representing an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within one of the busiest travel hubs in the United States. The role is that of a Driver C (Job ID: 536100), which is essential to the operations within the warehouse and delivery chain of HMSHost. This is a non-exempt, full-time role reporting typically to the Warehouse Manager or General Manager depending on the site’s local management structure.
The Driver C is responsible for the timely, safe, and efficient delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment across the designated delivery routes. Beyond transportation, the driver ensures that all goods are accounted for, correctly loaded, and delivered according to the bill of lading, adhering strictly to company standards and legal regulations. This role demands a high level of reliability and responsibility since the driver supports inventory control, order preparation, and day-to-day warehouse logistics.
In addition to driving duties, this position involves maintaining the vehicle in a safe operating condition and complying with all government transportation regulations. The Driver C also assists in setting up equipment or goods at delivery sites when needed, demonstrating versatility and teamwork. The work environment includes warehouse and airport locations, requiring the individual to be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in compliance with safety and security protocols.
HMSHost values employee growth and development, offering training and career advancement opportunities. Employees in this position benefit from comprehensive insurance coverage, including health, dental, and vision insurance. Generous paid time off policies, holiday pay, meal and transportation benefits, and a robust 401(k) retirement plan with company match are part of the compensation package. Additional perks such as tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, life insurance, and a referral program make this a highly attractive role.
Aspiring candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and have a minimum of one year of driving experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate comfortably with colleagues and customers are also essential. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a well-established, globally recognized company that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity for all employees. Located in the heart of Dallas, this job is ideal for individuals seeking stable employment in a thriving airport environment with the potential for career growth and personal development.
