Job Description

Kona Ice of Las Cruces and West El Paso is a vibrant and dynamic company operating as a mobile shaved ice vendor franchise. Known for its fun and engaging work environment, Kona Ice brings refreshing shaved ice treats to various local events, festivals, and community gatherings. As a growing franchise, Kona Ice offers unique opportunities for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced and social job that puts them in the heart of their community. Their mobile business model ensures that every day is different, with a chance to connect with new people while serving delicious and customizable shaved ice treats. This establishes Kona Ice as a go-to destination for families, children, and event attendees looking to beat the heat and enjoy a sweet treat.

Kona Ice is now seeking motivated and charismatic drivers to join their local Krew in Las Cruces and West El Paso. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time employment, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a reliable driving record, as safety is a top priority in this mobile environment. The role of a Kona Ice driver is not just about transportation but also involves providing exceptional customer service during a wide range of local activities including school events, sports games, tournaments, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get-togethers, weddings, and birthdays.

This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fun, fast-paced, and community-oriented atmosphere and who have a passion for working with children. Drivers at Kona Ice need to be flexible, proactive, and always ready to step up when extra help is needed. They are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment, ensuring that each customer interaction is positive and memorable. Responsibilities include preparing and stocking the truck for each shift, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, and handling basic cleaning tasks. Additionally, drivers must keep accurate documentation and communicate any maintenance or inventory needs to the appropriate staff.

Working as a Kona Ice driver means you’re not confined to a traditional office setting; instead, your workplace moves with the truck as you serve customers and spread smiles throughout the community. For those looking for advancement, the company offers opportunities to grow within the franchise, providing valuable entrepreneurial experience in a supportive and enthusiastic environment. Tips, a flexible schedule, and a fun team culture are among the benefits that make Kona Ice an attractive employer. If you are someone who consistently asks for more hours, enjoys being active and social, and wants to make a significant income while having fun, this role is an excellent fit.

In summary, working as a Kona Ice driver means joining a successful and expanding mobile franchise that values safety, customer engagement, and workplace enjoyment. It’s a role that blends community involvement, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for serving one of the most popular summer treats. Whether part-time or full-time, this job offers a unique and fulfilling career path for the right candidates who want to make a difference in their community while enjoying a lively and rewarding work environment.
