Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Hazardous material handling and transporting experience
- Completion of all OTC and Univar scheduled training courses
- Acquire and maintain Class A commercial driver’s license with endorsements
- Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
- Physical ability to lift at least 100lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, and bend for long periods
- Pass company drug tests
- Willingness to use safety equipment and precautions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with all required endorsements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience in handling hazardous materials
- Ability to operate industrial powered forklifts and pallet jacks
- Understanding of cGMP and GFSI standards
- Completion of all required training courses
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain company vehicles including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Make pickups and deliveries supporting production activities
- Transport hazardous materials and wastes safely in compliance with regulations
- Perform material handling duties within the warehouse
- Adhere to DOT and cGMP regulations
- Maintain and use respiratory protection equipment
- Support facility compliance with FDARP and GFSI standards
