The New Castle, Delaware location of Blue Ocean Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated Driver to join their team. This role is integral to the company’s logistics operation, ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods, materials, and personnel across assigned routes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles in a safe manner while following scheduled routes and maintaining accurate delivery records. The position also requires routine vehicle inspections, adherence to traffic laws and safety policies, and excellent communication with dispatch, management, and customers. Attention to detail, reliability, and customer service skills are essential in maintaining Blue Ocean’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry items (if applicable, e.g., up to 50 lbs)

  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends if needed

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL if required)
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Previous driving experience preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel
