The role of Driver at Univar Solutions is pivotal to the company’s operational success. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining company vehicles to facilitate timely pickups and deliveries, often handling hazardous materials and waste. Job Requirements

  • Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses including Class A commercial driver’s license with all required endorsements
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment as needed
  • Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with all required endorsements
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
  • Proficient in reading, writing, counting, understanding, and speaking English
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Experience in hazardous material handling and transportation

Job Duties

  • Make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers on a timely basis
  • Loads and unloads cargo
  • Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes
  • Complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport
  • Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs
  • Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick-ups for customers
