Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide social security number if based in the United States
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Activate and use the DoorDash Red Card for payments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years or older
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate mobile apps
- Basic knowledge of local stores and shopping procedures
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license or equivalent based on delivery method
- Capable of lifting and carrying items as needed
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Pick and shop for items accurately based on customer orders
- Deliver groceries, retail products, convenience items, and alcohol where applicable
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and accept delivery offers
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery
- Manage time effectively to maximize earnings during off-peak and peak hours
- Safely handle items and transactions using the DoorDash Red Card
- Navigate routes efficiently to complete deliveries promptly
