Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Must have a smartphone with consistent internet access
- Provision of social security number (US only)
- Completion of a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with smartphone apps and navigation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments with the Red Card
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Deliver grocery items and convenience orders to customers
- Shop for orders accurately using the DoorDash Dasher app
- Use the Red Card to pay for items when required
- Manage deliveries efficiently to avoid waiting around
- Communicate with customers about order status and any issues
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Adhere to all local delivery regulations and DoorDash policies
